You must register for the test with LBR when your child is in Year 5. The test takes place in Year 6, when children are around 10 or 11 years old.
Registration opens on 1 May 2026, you must register your child for the test before 5.00pm on Monday 15 June 2026.
If your child needs special arrangements for tests like SATs, please let Redbridge know when you apply. You’ll also need to provide the care plan from your child’s primary school. This needs to outline the test setting for your child. This is important so your child can have the right support and environment during their test. No adjustments will be considered after 15 June 2026.
At the start of September, you’ll be emailed an 11 plus photo ID form and an invite letter. This letter has information about the test.
Test Date: Friday 18 September 2026. You must bring the completed 11 + photo ID form to the test.
There is a minimum threshold score of 104 for all applicants. No one scoring lower that 104 will be added to the ranking or waiting list.
The test results are emailed to you in the middle of October 2026.
