UCAS and Future Pathways
Most of the boys who attend our Sixth Form leave at the end of Year 13 to embark upon a University career. Indeed, in the past we have been awarded by the Department for Education as the top state school in the country for progression to university.
It is therefore vital that boys are given as much help and guidance as possible in choosing the right course and university, and in putting together a strong application. As a consequence, the UCAS process has been crafted over the years in order to make the experience as smooth as possible.
A team UCAS tutors oversees the applicants from mid-Year 12 until the application forms are finally sent in Year 13. The whole process is supervised by the UCAS Co-ordinator Mr Dixon with additional advice on personal statements provided by Mr Pearson, one of our most experienced members of staff.
