Falcon House News

Welcome to Falcon House

My name is Mr. Smith and I am proud to be the Head of House for Falcons.

I am an experienced Head of House and I am also a teacher of PE.  Being a teacher of PE, I am very competitive in the House competitions particularly on Sports’ Day.

My interests revolve around sport, particularly football.  You can find me in the HOH office or in the PE office where I am happy to talk to all students, especially those who are Falcons.  I am also responsible for the smooth transition of our year 7 students from Primary to Secondary school so I am always available to lend a helping hand to any year 7 students who may have found it difficult to settle in at Ilford County.

If you want to learn more about student activities and achievements within the Falcon House, please look at our House Board.  Here you will find lots of pictures and information on activities that students in the Falcon House have taken part in over the last year.  Hopefully this will inspire others to do something extra or try something different.  I will be particularly looking forward to our house day trip this year.  Previously we have been to Thriftwood, Gilwell Park and Stubbers activity centres and it is always pleasing to see students bond together and learn some new skills at the same time.

Finally, I would like to introduce our House values which are Friendship, Respect, Excellence.  These are also the main Olympic Values and I believe they are relevant to school life as well as Olympic Sport.
